In order to provide the sand and gravel required by the project, one or several sand and gravel processing systems need to be set up. A sand and gravel yard is provided in the sand and gravel processing system to store, transfer and adjust the sand and gravel. Civil construction investment in yard structures often accounts for more than half of the sand and gravel processing system.

The belt conveyor has played a huge role in the storage and transportation of sand and gravel.
