Bulk material transportation solution by using  tubular belt conveyor: Bulk material transportation solution by using  tubular belt conveyor: The pipe conveyor (tubular belt conveyor) is a new type of beltconveyor. It is a enclosed curve, suitable for a variety of bulk materialtransportation systems. Due to its tubular shape, the conveyor can managehorizontal and vertical curves as well as high inclination.  Tubular Drag Conveyors are sealed to upstreamand downstream equipment by a hard flange or a flexible sleeve.

The belt is folded into a tubular pipe withoverlap and confined by 6 idler rolls forming a hexagon. The principle benefitsof pipe conveyor are its ability to negotiate sharp curves and seal thetransported material.

When material is loaded onto the conveyingbelt, the belt is open and the material is supplied in the same way as is thecase with conventional belt conveyors. Special devices close the belt carryingthe conveyed material. The belt forms a closed pipe over the entire conveyingdistance.
